Incurable Lungs is a book about addressing a major health scare. After I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) there was no guidebook on how my wife, and I would get through this very bad news. We had to figure it out and the decisions we had to make were not easy. By documenting my journey each day, I was able to better communicate with my doctors and develop a plan to survive.
If you, a friend, caregiver, spouse or family member are dealing with a devastating disease, this book is intended to provide a story of my journey, lessons learned and a message of hope albeit some hurdles along the way. Life will get better.
The net proceeds from this book will go to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and Donate Life Kentucky.
